Our Switches are certified for safety by STQC with ‘S’ mark, and by CSA (Canadian Standards Association). The CSA Certification is recognized by UL (Underwriters Laboratory, USA).

Electrical Characteristics

Our switches are suitable for switching of both resistive and inductive loads to the extent of Current and Voltage ratings of our individual switches-Please see “Basic Electrical & Mechanical Data”.

Ambient Temperature

Our switches are suitable for operation in an ambient Temperature upto 850C, i.e. T85.

Micro Switches


Micro Switch MS 31

Teknic miniature, snap action, Micro switches are robust in their construction and possess a built in precision, repeatability and reliability in their operation. They are versatile and find application in domestic Appliances, Instrumentation, Telecommunication and other Electronic Equipment, etc. Microswitches have CSA approval.


Mechanism:

Single pole, snap action, change over contacts which may be used to provide a double throw switch to change from one circuit to another with a common supply line, or may be used as normally open or normally closed switched. The change over time in all cases is fairly independent of the plunger speed. The contact points are an alloy of silver suitable for long life.


Enclosure: High-grade arc resistant, thermoplastic material.


Actuators: Levers in stainless steel. Rollers in high-grade thermoplastic or material. We can delive standard and non-standard actuators according to customer requirement.

Inductive Proximity Switches


The Teknic Eucher inductive proximity switches are solid state switching devices, which require no physical contact to actuate them. Used for control and positioning signals they can be connected directly into conventional or electronic control systems. The use for such switching devices has increased in recent times as machines in general have become more and more automated.


These proximity switches are available in standard cylindrical form as well as in flat profile and block housing forms. They are manufactured to international standard IEC 60-947-5-2. The combination of quality materials and advanced technology in the construction of these switches ensures a very high degree of precision and reliability under the most arduous conditions.


These switches are designed for AC and DC supply voltage operation. The exact operating voltages and currents are mentioned in the data sheets of the individual types.


All Teknic Euchner proximity switches have an environmental protection to IP 67 to DIN 40050.

The output stages are protected against damage with the built in short circuit and overload protection.
